2nd International Congress on Dam Maintenance and Rehabilitation

Zaragoza, Spain

DEADLINE FOR EARLY REGISTRATION 15 September 2010

Click here for the latest update

As I am sure you are aware, the current world economic situation is leading to alterations in the normal development of activities. The European Trade Union Confederation (CES) has called for demonstrations due to start on 29th September to coincide with the EU Council of Economy and Finances (ECOFIN) Meeting in Brussels. Consequently, Spain is due to hold a general strike on the same day, which unfortunately clashes with the Conservation and Rehabilitation of Dams Congress in Zaragoza.

In view of the situation, and the possibility that the general strike may greatly hinder the congress developments, the organisation has decided to postpone the congr ess. The event will now take place between 23rd and 25th November, 2010, in the same planned venue, and under the same conditions. The only necessary change will be the registration deadlines. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

The congress secretariat will shortly be in touch with all registered participants in order to reconfirm the registrations.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the change of dates, which we feel has been necessary for the congress’ success. Finally, we would like to extend our wishes to see as many participants as possible in Zaragoza in November, as the congress promises to be of huge interest, highlighted by the fact that we have received over 120 papers for the scientific programme.

The organisation.
